| Commodore Termite USN Posted: Nov 18 2003, 11:16 PM | This game just gets better and better.
http://www.virtualskipper3-lejeu.com/ I beta tested this up until they made the last patch but just downloaded the demo and connected to an online game right away. Its a very rich video environment and in the demo you can race or sail a 70' ACC boat around Cowes England. The latest version of this is presented by a much better organization than the previos two. It includes 6 very large bodies of water such as the entire island and rivers around Cowes and the Needles. Also San Francisco Bay and Auckland NZ. You can set up the course yourself in the games course editor ( not in the demo but it works fantastically) and of course race on line with 7 other boats, plus I saw signs that it would support 12 boats, a real fleet. Even if you never want to race a moment in your life you will enjoy sailing the ACC boat. It is a modern marvel and the sim moves like the real thing, very accurate and sensitive to both helm and sail trim. Online racing is very competitive if it isnt always just fun. ROW rules can be turned on to give out automatic penalty turns or left off so that skippers can interpret rule questions on their own. Well enough of this for now. Thanks to the Shookies for letting me spout off about this game. I think some of you would enjoy meeting other sailors even if you cant shoot em. Its a beautiful game. I'm Termite there too- ( well, or SeaDogg. I can never remember who I am sometimes) cheers! T |

I don`t like your attitude, Rob, no problem when talking as character, but might you imagine that french people who take a look into our forum might think? I know you personally and cannot think of you as a non tolerant person! Please reconsider your style! respectfully, Alexander |
