Sea Lords Medals

These commendations are awarded to officers who make significant contributions to the Sea Lords. These awards are in addition to those that presented by the various fleets.

	Sea Lords Gallantry Medal SLGM	Awarded by First Sea Lord to an individual who distinguishes himself or herself by commendable service or achievement to Sea Lords.
	Sea Lords Cross SLC	Awarded by First Sea Lord to an individual who distinguishes himself or herself by Outstanding service or achievement to the Sea Lords. This is the highest award short of peerage.
	Sea Lords Distinguished Service Medal SLDSM	Awarded to an individual who distinguishes himself or herself by distinguishing service or achievement of a lesser degree than required for the Sea Lords Cross.
	Sea Lords Superior Service Medal SLSSM	Awarded to an individual who distinguishes himself or herself by service or achievement of a lesser degree than required for the Sea Lords Medal.
	Sea Lords Meritorious Service Medal SLMSM	Awarded to an individual who distinguishes himself or herself by meritorious service or achievement of a lesser degree than required for the Distinguished Service Medal.
	Sea Lords Service Medal SLSM	Awarded for participation in a Campaign or Tournament.
	Sea Lords Shooting League Medal SLSLM	Awarded for being the top score, ALL fleets, in any given month, in Shooting League.
Special Sea Lords Medals
	Sea Lords Award SLM	Awarded by First Sea Lord to an individual who distinguishes himself or herself by commendable service or achievement to Sea Lords.
	Chivalrous Order of Sea Lords COSL	Awarded by First Sea Lord to an individual who distinguishes himself or herself by Outstanding service or achievement to the Sea Lords.
	Sea Lords Grand Cross SLGS	Awarded by First Sea Lord to an individual who distinguishes himself or herself by Outstanding service or achievement to the Sea Lords.
	Distinguished Chivalrous Order of Sea Lords DCOSL	Awarded by First Sea Lord to an individual who distinguishes himself or herself by Outstanding service or achievement to the Sea Lords. This is the highest award short of peerage.
