Demotions or Dismissals

Demotions or dismissal can be used as disciplinary action for disobeying orders, failure to participate, cowardice in combat, or other serious charges that would warrant removal from Sea Lords VF.

The same chain of command must be followed for demotions as in case of promotion, except for heads of fleets both formal and informal.

An Admiral of the Fleet can only be punitively dismissed by the First Sea Lord.  At which time, the First Sea Lord may seek the advisement of the FAdm Council. The request for dismissal must come from:

  1. the First Sea Lord
  2. a Deputy Sea Lord
  3. an Admiral of one of the Fleets
  4. or one of the affected fleet's Vice Admirals
