National (Formal) Fleets
National (formal) fleets are led by the Fleet Admiral (FAdm)
Each fleet is structured as listed:
Fleet Admiral - Admiral of the Fleet
The FAdm. is tasked with the organization of the national fleet he/she is in command of. Is responsible for carrying out the policies of Sea Lords, and the orders of the FSL.
Vice Admiral - Fleet Commanders in Chief
(maximum 3 per nationality unless otherwise authorized)
The Vice Admiral (CINC) is tasked with assisting the Admiral of the fleet. Responsible for the actual organization of battles, passing on orders from the FAdms, and reporting requests by Junior Officers and Rear Admirals. Commanders of fleets in large battles.Rear Admiral - Fleet Ops/Area Commander
(maximum 9 per nationality unless otherwise authorized)
Responsible for passing orders from the Vice Admirals to the Jr. Officers, and reporting requests by Jr. Officers to Vice Admirals. Commanders of fleets in battles. Is in command of up to three squadrons.Commodore - Squadron Commander
(maximum 27 per nationality unless otherwise authorized)
Responsible for passing orders from the Rear Admirals to the individual Commanders, reporting requests by individual Commanders to the Rear Admirals. Commanders of fleet squadrons in battles.Post Captains (and below)
(maximum 81 per nationality unless otherwise authorized)
Responsible for the execution of orders and well being of their ships. Commanders of individual ships in battles.Squadron Organization
Each squadron will consist of nine personnel:
one Post Captain, two Captains, three Commanders, and three lieutenants. Midshipmen are trainees and will be assigned to special training squadrons until completion of training.Staff Officers
Each Flag Officer is authorized to have at least one Deputy that does not count agains the max. number of line officers of a particular rank. The rank of the Deputy will be one rank junior of the Flag Officer in question. Fleet Admirals are authorized 3 Deputies and Fleet CINC's are authorized 2 deputies. The First Sea Lord may appoint as many Deputies as he may need. Only the first Deputy Sea Lord's duties are described.
Chain of Command
The chain of command shall be followed at all times for organizational purposes. Orders are to be passed down until they reach the executors, and requests should be passed down until they reach the responsible Officers.
